Bringing the spooky vibes, Calcium is bringing his Dead on Arrival tour to Sunbar on October 13th, a very fitting setting for a Friday the 13th. Calcium will infuse his signature dubstep sound into his first headline tour of his career and promises to captivate audiences across the nation. As a rising star in the bass scene, I firmly believe that Calcium possesses what it takes to headline festivals one day, making his show at Sunbar a show not to be missed.
While Calcium has performed at shows and festivals all around the world for the last five years, he is just scratching the surface of what he has to offer. Calcium presents a unique twist on the typical headbanging-style dubstep, focusing on precision-like growls that still drive the crowd into a frenzy. He consistently incorporates this distinctive sound into other genres, experimenting with various styles from house to glitch hop, and consistently delivers. His latest seven-track EP, “Dead on Arrival,” is an exceptional body of work, encompassing a range of sounds and tempos, yet all undeniably crafted with Calcium’s signature design elements. “Control” unleashes a devastating wave of bass, while “Half N Half” is a trap banger with Kent Osborne rapping over the drop.
Supporting Calcium at Sunbar is Cyclops, another dubstep producer on the rise. With numerous popular bootleg remixes on SoundCloud, Cyclops offers many unreleased edits and IDs that infuse his live sets with excitement. By blending elements of dubstep with trap, his fusion of bass will set the perfect tone leading up to Calcium’s set, promising a night to be remembered.
Calcium will make a stop in Tempe for his “Dead on Arrival” tour on October 13th, a show not to be missed by bass lovers. Catch him at Sunbar and secure your tickets here!
