YetepOne of the best and brightest underground dubstep producers, Abstrakt Sonance, has been releasing some of the most innovative and fresh 140 dubstep for the past few years. Releasing EPs and singles on some of the biggest deep dub labels such as Deep Dark, and Dangerous, Sub Carbon, and Duploc, Abstrakt Sonance does not miss when it comes to producing some of the best tunes. His most recent Nasty EP, which was released on Ganja White Night’s Sub Carbon, is a four-track EP that you cannot skip. Each of these tunes has a completely unique blend of bass, each one seeming to have more than the last. It is a true pleasure to feel these tunes on a proper sound system. The Nasty EP can only be described as that, four of the most nasty dubplates released this year.
Deep dubstep is often imagined as more relaxing and ethereal sounding than this most recent EP. As is true with all Sub Carbon releases, the tunes on the Nasty EP have energy. They make you want to move and dance along with the bass. I find it hard to select a favorite song from the EP as they all bring something unique to the table. If you are a fan of Deep Dark and dangerous then this EP has got to make it into your 140 playlists. With everything from heavy-hitting bass lines to weird and wonky fills, this is one of the best all around showcases of how to bring energy in every tune on a release. Abstrakt Sonance is one up and coming producer that you are not going to want to miss so stay tuned via the socials below.
