YetepTape B has had one of the most impressive years for any dance music artist. He has been absolutely smashing all of his releases and has cooked up some songs with legends such as John Summit and Subtronics, but who is this Tape B you are hearing all about? Whether you found him through his SoundCloud mixes, hip-hop remixes, or melty bass music, there is no doubt that you have been impressed with what you heard. For those who have just heard his name or seen him on a lineup, Tape B has a sound design that is unique and sets him apart by combining old school hip-hop and rap with some of the most mind melting bass frequencies. Not a one trick pony, Tape B is one of the most impressive producers to come onto the main stage in dubstep and bass music.
Tape B has not only been touring but he has also been busy in the studio. He has an up and coming release with two of the biggest names in edm right now, Subtronics and John Summit. Connecting with John Summit in the studio after Coachella, the three of them have cooked up a fantastic ID. The song, which was played during Subtronics’ Kinetic Field set at EDC, mixes wonky wubs with a slightly housey beat. This is only one example of the fantastic music that Tape B is involved with. If you are a fan of Ganja White Night, Mersiv, or Space Wizard, then Tape B is someone you need to check out. Tape B will be heading to Arizona three times this summer. He’ll be doing a two-night stint at Sunbar on July 25th and July 26th before heading to Flagstaff to join several other fantastic bass and deep dubstep artists at Coconino Campout this September. Get your tickets HERE and we hope to see you there!
