YetepAfter delivering some of dance music’s latest hits, John Summit has finally announced that his debut album will arrive this summer! As of yesterday, Summit officially revealed that the project would be called Comfort in Chaos. The album announcement comes after a run of recently released singles, such as the newly released drum and bass anthem “Go Back” with Sub Focus, his Hayla duet “Shiver,” and the official remix of Kaskade and deadmau5’s classic “I Remember.” Comfort In Chaos is a 12-track project that will be released this July 12th via Darkroom and Summit’s Experts Only label.
“Trying to find peace in chaos is the overarching theme of this album – this is a far more emotional, melodic body of work for me, because it’s my most introspective work to date. John Summit is the performing act, but when I write music I get more vulnerable – while writing this album, I had to go from being in the mindset of John Summit to being John Schuster, my real name.”

Puerto Rican visual artist Marcos Alvarado showcases artwork on the album cover, exploring themes of chaos, peace, life, and death. Along with the release date, Summit has shared a new merch collection featuring the record on vinyl in two parts: “Comfort” and “Chaos.” Some pieces, like the signed vinyl, sold out within minutes, but you can check out the rest of the collection here.
