Rezz’s Remastered Track Pushes Her OG Sound to The ‘EDGE’

Rezz is taking it back to where it all started and bringing back one of her most iconic tracks from the earliest days of her career. Almost a decade later, Rezz has pulled her 2016 fan-favorite track “Edge,” from The Silencing Is Deafening EP, out of the vault for an enhanced mind-melting revamp. This timeless original is the epitome of Rezz’s legendary hypnotic dark bass sound and somehow Rezz has recreated the track heavier than the last. The 2024 reworked“EDGE” continues on the OG legacy, releasing again with the mau5trap record label.

In light of the release of “EDGE,”  Rezz said the following on her social media platforms:

Spiraling into an entrancing realm of bass, “EDGE” ripples waves of dark shadowy bass. The track slows and elevates the distorted electronic sounds of the original and Rezz layers in extra depth to the pulsating rhythms. The second drop adds in another layer of beats with echoes of shooting lasers consumed in deeper whirls of bass. Rezz enlivens “EDGE” with energy straight from deep space and the shadowy realms of Dubstep.

Rezz continues to create brain-shattering tracks with her unmatchable style. Her music reigns at the top of bass music and has even taken over outside of the edm scene. The original version of “Edge” took over Tiktok a couple years ago, with its own special trend, as many probably remember or may even have participated in. Rezz will forever be an icon to the masses and her mesmerizing space music stands the test of time.
