ARMNHMR Announce House/Club Set at Maya Dayclub This Month

The famed Los Angeles duo ARMNHMR are scheduled to bring their unique vibe and sound to Scottsdale’s own Maya Dayclub on Sunday, July 14th. Get ready to soak up the sun and RAGE to a House/Club set. This duo is LEGENDARY. Consistently touring, playing festivals, and dropping regular releases and collaborations. Several artists have remixed their tracks, including MAMBA., Spag Heddy, and Hekler. They are also masters at mixing and bending genres. Making their live sets a must-see event. ARMNHMR holds a unique place in my heart, as they were the last DJs that I saw perform live before COVID-19 temporarily shut everything down. Maya Dayclub is a Valley staple that gives off strong Vegas vibes and regularly books top-notch talent. The venue is located in the Old Town Scottsdale Entertainment District and surround by numerous other clubs/bars, restaurants, and shops. Maya is located at 7333 E. Indian Plaza and adheres to a strict beach club dress code. Swimwear, open-toed shoes, and casual button-ups are required. Hawaiian Shirts, Yacht Hats, and Bucket Hats are highly encouraged, but not required. Leave your Vans, Converse, and Doc Martins at home or in your car. You will not be needing them. It’s MAYA TIME! The show starts at noon and is sure to have great vibes and an excellent crowd. ARMNHMR give it their ALL in every performance and excel at reading the crowd. “Moments” is the newest major ARMNHMR release and features Z3LLA, the vocal helm. This is a very bright and uplifting track that begins with a beautiful keyboard intro and shimmering diamond elements. However, “Moments” gallops along at a medium-fast tempo for most of the runtime and features Trance-inspired crescendoes and speedy House Hi-Hats that march at near-frantic pace. The track switches to melodic verses before picking up speed once again. Splashy drums can also be heard throughout. Z3LLA’s vocals keep up with the shifting beat with ease. The lyrics on “Moment” are beautiful and well-written. My favorite passage would have to be:

“It was a Shakespeare love, yea a daydream. So dumb and so hopeless. For a moment. Can’t miss what you never had. All the good times, were we lying about that? I still wonder what we could’ve been. But it was just worth it. For a moment.”

“Moment” concludes with keyboards and elements that gradually wind down and fade out. This is an incredibly energetic release with melodic vocals that both compliment and pleasant contradict with the ever-shifting beat.
