Rezz has always been one of my favorite producers, and she has turned it up to the next level with this current era she is in. Always known as the producer who isn’t afraid to be herself with a strikingly unique combination of trap, space bass, and bass, she has turned up the aggressive knob, leaving no prisoners behind. A couple of years ago, she put more emphasis on vocals to push her brand forward, and now she has taken a step back in that department, and forward in bass that will absolutely tear you to shreds. This new era is going to shake the bass world to its core!

Rezz is first and foremost a producer. Her ability to create never-before-heard sounds out of just her computer is arguably unmatched, and she has captured the attention of millions of fans because of it. She famously is not afraid to get weird, and it gives her audience the confidence to authentically be who they are as well. Her “new sound” can be seen in her album, Can You See Me, which is much more aggressive than her past work. You can really hear it in her song with Holly, “DYSPHORIA”, which is an onslaught of bass that relentlessly flows over the listener, with incredible accents creating ripples in space. Her live sets reflect this new era as well and are increasingly bassier with emphasis on taking the audience to the far reaches of space.
Even though Rezz was a certified S-Tier headliner in the bass community, she is taking her brand to the next level. This is only the start for Rezz, who seems reinvigorated to push boundaries and create incredible experiences. Let’s hope she makes a return to Arizona soon!
