Subtronics’ Cyclops Desert Day 1 to Bring Some of the Best In Bass

Cyclops Desert is almost upon us! Subtronics’ return to Rawhide is one of the most exciting dubstep events happening in the southwest all spring. The last time that Subtronics was at Rawhide was a night to remember. We could not be more excited to bring him back to the desert for two amazing nights. The lineup of outstanding artists begins with a collection of Arizona debuts. Opening the night is one of the most exciting female bass producers in Skellytyn. Known for her innovative sound, we know that the night is going to get started right with an amazing set from one of the best up and coming dubstep artists. Following Skellytyn, the night is going to slow down a little with Smoakland. This legendary west coast duo is going to bring their deep and trippy bass melodies. By fusing multiple genres such as hip hop, dubstep, bass, and experimental, Smoakland is going to get the subs pumping early. 

After these two amazing openers, the night get kicked into high gear. Coming to Arizona for the first time, Hedex is going to bring the energy. One of the breakout drum and bass artists in the past two years, Hedex is going to tear up the speakers with his iconic MHITR show. Making his name across the pond in the UK, Hedex bring a new uptempo and heavy sound to the drum and bass genre. With the explosion of drum and bass in the dubstep genre, it is clear why Subtronics wanted to add him as one of the openers on the first night. Following Hedex and playing direct support for Subtronics is Mersiv. After an amazing back to back set with Inzo at Goldrush, we knew that Mersiv needed to come back to the Valley for a proper solo set. This is going to be one of the sets of the weekend, as Mersiv prepares us for the highlight of the night, Subtronics.
