YetepThe wonky wizard legend is back, and this time, he’s diving headfirst into drum and bass. Subtronics has joined forces with DnB heavyweight Hedex and rising star Irah for their explosive new collab, “System Shock.” Subtronics has been teasing his love for drum and bass in recent sets, dropping banger edits and flips that have left fans wondering if he’s dabbling with the genre more deeply.
The track starts off strong with gnarly breaks and crunchy bass, only to transition into the second half filled with filthy dubstep. It’s a rollercoaster that gives fans the best of both worlds. “System Shock” proves he’s more than capable of holding his own in the DnB realm. And if you know anything about DnB, you know Hedex has been a driving force in that realm, constantly releasing the dirtiest DnB tracks. Together with Irah’s vocals the trio has created a track that’s as chaotic as it is addictive, perfect for what DnB represents.
Speaking of chaos, both Subtronics and Hedex will be bringing the heat to Rawhide Event Center this weekend (March 7th and 8th). If “System Shock” is any indication, these shows are going to be absolute madness. Don’t miss out, grab your tickets HERE now and prepare for a bass-fueled weekend at Rawhide!
