Swedish House Mafia legends Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello have teamed up with genre-bending vocalist Namasenda to deliver “No Enemies,” a mainstage banger. Released April 24th, the track fuses deep bass lines, techno stabs, and eery chords. The contrast between the low-end of the production and the high-end of the vocals makes it a strong track for dancefloors. “No Enemies” not only showcases the legendary producers’ evolution as artists, it introduces Namasenda to mainstream EDM with a voice that could take over.
Best known as two-thirds of Swedish House Mafia, Ingrosso and Angello have spent the last two decades shaping the sound of modern electronic music. From festival anthems to introspective solo work, their catalog speaks to both their innovation and influence in the dance scene. Namasenda, the vocalist on the track, brings a new sound to the scene, one that meshes well with the darker productions that are growing more popular across the US and EU.
Fans and DJs have taken notice, as it’s been played by Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix, and even Axwell unveiled it at Ultra Music Festival. In five days the track has earned roughly 400K streams on Spotify alone, landing playlist placements from mint, New Music Friday, and Housewerk. It’s safe to say this track has had a solid release week and there is plenty more success to come.
