YetepFresh off a run of releases, the ominous project Deathpact has just shared a new two-track EP titled “ACTIVATE.” The mysterious artist delivers both an experimental dubstep track along with a bass house release. Not something fans would usually expect from Deathpact.
The EP kicks off with the title track, a gritty, bass-driven sound design and an impressive low-end. On the flip side, “RUTHLESS” offers a catchy, bass house rhythm that’s comparable to some of the popular bass house names in the scene. Few artists pivot between such distinct styles this seamlessly, yet unironically, Deathpact is known for experimenting with sounds since the beginning of their project.
With a growing discography that includes recent collabs and solo originals, speculation is building around what’s next. Could a tour be on the horizon? While no official announcements have been made, the consistency and quality of new music suggest Deathpact is building toward something in the near future. For now, fans can dive into the diverse sounds of ACTIVATE, out now on all platforms.
