Leo Cap Brings the Heat with New DDD Release, ‘Changer’

Leo Cap has been one of the most exciting up and coming artists from the Deep Dark and Dangerous family. For those who are unaware, Leo Cap has been one of the longest contributors to the deep dubstep and 140 music genres. Leo Cap, originally from New Zealand,  is an underground electronic music producer known for his dark, weighty take on dubstep and bass music—especially in the 140 BPM range. With roots in the southern hemisphere, it is clear to see how they got lined up with the Deep Dark and Dangerous crew. Leo cap is back with another fantastic six-single EP. With Changer EP, Leo Cap firmly cements his reputation as a forward-thinking producer in the dubstep and bass music scenes. 

The Changer EP opens with “Bad Man,” a hard-hitting banger built around tough vocal samples and a sub-driven groove that punches straight through the chest. The bass keeps rumbling and the speakers keep shaking as the EP morphs into more futuristic and experimental tones. The title track “Changer” brings a more experimental, sci-fi edge with stuttering percussion and seismic drops that flip the energy on its head.
