YetepALOK is closing out a huge year by linking up with two key artists from different scenes. The Brazilian superstar has teamed up with American producer SCRIPT and Canadian vocalist FAANGS for their new single, “Substance,” and an official live video you can watch HERE.
The track is a sleek, late-night club vibe that finds a clear common ground. It blends ALOK’s feel for a global dance floor with SCRIPT’s sharp production, all wrapped in FAANGS’s distinct, hypnotic vocals. It’s a song built for the heart of a DJ set, driving, and instantly engaging.
For the trio, the collaboration clicked. FAANGS called the session a “fever dream,” while SCRIPT saw it as a natural link to the Brazilian sounds that influence his work.
“Alok and Brazilian culture in general have been a huge inspiration of mine and instrumental in how I blend different genres into my sound. Ever since I saw the videos of his performance on Copacabana to 1M people I knew we had to work together on something…With its hypnotic vocals and sexy grooves [Substance is] meant to keep bodies moving during breaks in a set between heavier tracks.”

It’s a statement that the most compelling club music emerges not from isolation, but from deliberate, cross-cultural exchange. After a year of massive festival stages, “Substance” shows ALOK can still craft a club-focused weapon with the right partners. The single is out now on all platforms.
