Don Diablo Drops Satisfying Remix of Tate McRae’s Hit Song, ‘2 hands’

Earlier this year Zhu and Tame Impala released the soothing tune “My Life.” It’s a hazy, deep house thumper that’s kept heads bobbing for months since it’s release. Mellow in nature, this track has a perfect foundation for remixing and we’ve recently been blessed by none other than South African DJ and producer Kyle Watson. He taps into the danceability of the song, adding a strong, percussion forward intro. That lasts all of a minute before slowing down to feature the soft vocals from the original that makes the track stand out.
It’s safe to say fans of all artists involved are loving this one, as it has over half a million streams on Spotify alone. The minimal guitar stabs and infectious vocals set the tone for what reminds us of a true after-hours house jam. It’s one of my favorite remixes to date and I can’t wait to hear it played out by BOTH artists during their upcoming visits to the Valley.
You can catch Kyle Watson on Saturday, August 11th at Shady Park. Grab tickets here before it’s too late! Zhu is stopping by twice this fall! Once for a sold-out show in September, and a second time on October 24th at The Van Buren. Limited tickets remain for this show, so act fast and grab one now!
