YetepThe party-rock experience maker Steve Aoki knows no limits when to comes to champagne showers, energy on stage, and of course, turning out hits. We’ve seen him produce pop-party beats like the iconic “Freak”, infuse EDM with rock and roll with his remix of Blink 182’s “Bored to Death” and even simmer in the feels with his tribute track to Lincoln Park’s late Chester Bennington with “One More Light.” Aoki can pull off any vibe he ’s feeling at the moment and he must have been hit with the love stick because his latest single “Lie To Me” adds a heavy heartbreak ballad to his resume.
Teaming up with Norwegian songstress, Ina Wroldsen, the two created a brooding tune that speaks to the woes of fading flame. Keeping it mellow in the beat, the low end and evenly balanced BMP serves as a hearty foundation for the bold and beautiful lyrics. This one is good for the soul, check it out below.
Come out and witness the great Aoki in his element at Goldrush Music Festival this September; grab your tickets here!
