It’s no mystery that the UK trio Gentlemens Club specializes in all things heavy and grimy. Their new track “Get Money,” released on the infamous Never Say Die: Black Label, follows in this beautiful trend. “Get Money” starts with an alluring distorted piano build-up. As the song progresses, more elements like claps, kicks, drums, and synths are added on top of the buildup. The track drops into a wonky and destructive drop that headbangers will love. The drop rips listeners out of their seats and onto the dancefloor. The track smooths itself out for a couple bars only to dive into an even heavier and destructive second drop. The only negative side effect of “Get Money” is the spinal injuries caused by headbanging.
Gentlemens Club was created with no other purpose besides to experiment with creating music and to have some fun during the process. The trio consisting of 50 Carrot, Coffi, and Soloman have played massive shows and festivals all over the world. This year they’ve released a new EP Black Gold along with a handful of singles.
The trio is turning The Pressroom into a Gentlemen’s Club on March 30th with 12th Planet. Grab tickets here.
