YetepWhere’s all my bassheads at? This one’s for you. Are you looking for someone that brings that wonky bass sound similar to artists like Bassnectar and Liquid Stranger? Then look no further than LUZCID. The Houston based DJ and producer has gained himself quite the cult-like following in the 5 years he’s been producing astronomical music. LUZICD’s sonic odyssey through the music industry has allowed him to play in almost every major US city, along with opening the door for worldwide performances. Just to show you what LUZCID is made of, check out his newest track “Laid Back.”
If the name LUZCID sounds familiar, chances are you weren’t having a lucid dream, but instead listened to his two collaborations with Bassnectar “Science Fiction” and “Music is the Drug.”
Because of LUZCID’s over the top and psychedelic sound, we are making him this week’s DJ to watch. LUZCID has worked with several labels including Circus Records, and Liquid Stranger’s own Wakkan label. His live sets are an experience like no other, with sensory overloading bass and visuals.
LUZCID is starting the party on Zomboy’s Rott and Roll tour coming to the Van Buren on March 9th. Grab tickets here.
