Multi-faceted producers Gorgon City have dropped their latest underground offering “Lick Shot,” a slick new track launched on their REALM imprint, in partnership with Astralwerks.
With it’s pounding bassline “Lick Shot” follows the duo’s previous releases on the label, including “Grooves on the Vinyl,” “Motorola” and “Primal Call,” picking up support from dance music heavyweights including Adam Beyer, Richy Ahmed, John Digweed, Claptone, The Black Madonna, CamelPhat and Nicole Moudaber.
Fresh off the back of a 2018 North American tour supporting sophomore album, Escape, Gorgon City will return to the U.S. this spring with eagerly anticipated live sets at Coachella on Friday, April 12 and Friday, April 19. The duo first brought their live show to the festival in 2015, which cemented Gorgon City’s status as “must-see” act and credited the duo for taking live performance elements of electronic music to new heights.
