YetepArmin van Buuren, father of the trance movement, has been unrelenting in creating and fueling his passion for electronic music, a drive that has propelled him to the top of the EDM world over the past 20 years. Armin van Buuren has not stopped since he started – he constantly shifts between creating music in his studio, performing at his next high-end club or playing festival shows around the globe. His indisputable success is owed to the loyalty shared between him and his fans, his creativity in the studio, and the unfailing dedication with which he hosts his weekly radio show “A State of Trance.” To end 2019, he’s released his annual year mix, which you can listen to below.
This year’s mix begins with a cheeky audio scene called “Music Lesson with Mr. Briggs” featuring van Buuren schooling the class himself. It’s a playful intro, with a fun remix that swings from Bach to modern trance music. The mix features songs from Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate, and more. It’s a magical, entrancing way to reflect on the past year and the music it has brought us. Armin van Buuren will lead us into the new year with fresh episodes of ASOT, more new music, and more shows.
Armin van Buuren will put you in a state of trance on his Balance tour at The Van Buren. Find tickets for the show on February 6th here.
