YetepMarc Kinchen, better known as MK, is currently one of the most influential producers of future generations. Both a pioneer of his own soulful house tracks and a master at blending infectious beats into songs with artists like Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Jay-Z and more, it’s not rash to assume MK is a veteran of house. He’s expanded and grown with the music industry as a whole, and now while still evolving his own sound he also continues to collaborate on remixes with A-list artists. A couple of months ago he teased the release of a remix for Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott, and recently he finally released it. Listen to his remix of “Antisocial” below.
Soulful basslines and energetic progression buildups construct a blend of a bop and something more contemplative. The original pop influence from Ed Sheeran and Travis Scott remains, but MK pulls it a little deeper for an air of underground exclusivity. This remix of “Antisocial” will easily be flowing through house parties and clubs alike indefinitely for its easily likable beat.
MK will bring this exact sound to his set at this year’s Phoenix Lights on April 3rd & 4th. Get your tickets here
