YetepEric Prydz. Sheridan. Pryda. Cirez D. Call him what you like, but the man’s versatility is undeniable. Under the moniker Cirez D, Prydz returns to underground techno sounds on his Mouseville label to bring two new jams for those 2am moment in the club.
“Thunderstuck” thrills with a repetitive beat and a thumping bass for that hypnotic, pure EDM bliss. “Drums In The Deep” relaxes the mood and fades into the nightmarish pounding of an frighteningly epic night below the surface of mainstream.
The two tracks combine show that one of Europe’s most consistent dance forces goes far beyond the reaches of normal progressive and house that rule the airwaves. Cirez D is back to remind the world that Mouseville Record owns the darker, techno underground, blasting from speakers of hidden warehouses and abandoned fields.
If you missed Cirez D under the setting sun at Wet Electric (maybe you saw him under his more well known name, Eric Prydz), you certainly missed out, but keep these tracks in mind if you want to get your Pryda fix.
The EP releases May 6th.
