YetepDeadmau5 just released his latest track, “My Heart Has Teeth” ft. Skylar Grey, featured on the soundtrack for the new Netflix series, Resident Evil, which premiered July 14th. The track presents an eerie, downtempo vibe, a perfect fit for the theme of this action/horror show. Check it out below!
Deadmau5 last collaborated with Skylar Grey a few years back on the notable Kaskade collab, “Beneath with Me.” Here’s what the producer had to say about working with Grey and making this track:
“Dystopian suburbia is the kind of vibe I had in mind when making this song. It’s been pretty cool because I like that weird, corporate overtone of this entity that owns the village, if you would. I just imagine what that would be like while roughly composing the song with, of course, the vocal accoutrement of Ms. Skylar Grey. She’s an amazing talent to work with, and she just nailed the lyrics.”
Don’t miss deadmau5 at Arizona Federal Theatre on Saturday, October 15th alongside Nero, Kasablanca, and Lamorn. You can get more event info and purchase tickets here!
