Gareth Emery‘s fifth and final album, ANALOG, is here. Released via the producer’s own label, We’ll Be Ok, ANALOG is made up of 10 original tracks, taking listeners on an emotional journey from start to end.
With nearly two decades under his belt, Gareth Emery has earned his spot as one of the top trance producers in the industry. Earlier this year, Emery announced ANALOG would be his final album, but he would continue to release singles and EPs, and perform live. Although this stings for OG Emery fans, we can’t deny he’s going out with a bang on ANALOG.
Check it out below!
Featuring standout tracks like “This Is Not The End” with nostalgic melodies and hopeful vocals by Roddy Woomble and “Where Do We Go From Here” with its quintessential trance synths, ANALOG might just be Emery’s best album to date.
Here’s what the producer had to say about the new album on socials:
“I’ve always worked hard to make albums a coherent listen from beginning to end, and I believe this one really tells a story. Of course, this record is completely different to anything I’ve done before. Sure, there are some dance music bangers, like ‘Where Do We Go From Here’ and ‘This Is Not The End’, but the most enjoyable parts of this album were using guitars, pianos & real drums to produce records purely in a ‘band’ style… whilst still being as pure a ‘Gaz’ record as any other. As the closing track says, ‘the end of an old era, but the beginning of a new one’ and that’s very much the case here. After five albums in the last 12 years, I’m excited to end that story, and start telling a new one. The new era involves making music and releasing it more quickly, and I’m excited for you to hear what it sounds like. For now though, I very much hope you enjoy ANALOG.”
