YetepPhoenix is no stranger to big nights and bigger beats. With spring heating up and summer parties looming, the city’s trifecta of top venues is ready for headliners who match their energy. Here’s who I believe should be commanding the stage at three of Arizona’s most electric spots this summer.

Disco Lines at Rawhide
Rawhide is for chaos in the best possible way. Stadium-sized lasers, endless desert air, and enough space for a full-on cardio rave. Following in the footsteps of John Summit’s scorching set last summer, Disco Lines is the perfect heir to the desert throne. His glossy house loops and bassy teases build like a desert monsoon. Out here, the desert doesn’t sleep. It dances for Disco Lines.
ACRAZE at Maya Day Club
Maya is a poolside fever dream. The Fourth of July is like a top-three holiday. Acraze, with over 1.5 billion streams worldwide (SongStats), is a genre-bender born to headline the most unhinged Fourth of July party Scottsdale’s ever seen. With the kind of beat drops that make you accidentally fall in love with strangers, his sets zigzag from hip-hop heat to pop euphoria to deep electronic grooves. You don’t need fireworks when the booth is already on fire.
Azzecca at Darkstar (May 3rd)
And now, the real plug. Darkstar is Tempe’s secret weapon: intimate, immersive, and more transformative than Katy Perry’s recent Blue Origin joyride. Which is exactly why Azzecca is my top pick to headline (and she actually is this May!). Fresh off her latest single” Holding Back”- a trippy piano house track laced with stardust – the Chicago producer is bringing her signature celestial energy to the desert this May 3rd. If you don’t know Azzecca, imagine if NASA threw a rave. That’s the vibe. Don’t sleep on this one. It’s a rare planetary alignment. Grab tickets here.
Summer’s creeping in like a bass drop—and if you’re not planning your nights around dance floors and delirium, what are you even doing? Start strong at Darkstar on May 3rd with Azzecca.
