Relentless Beats

Skrillex Remixes “Show Me Love” by Hundred Waters and Brings Along Chance The Rapper and Others To Help

The collaborating continues on for Skrillex: after the release of the “Mind” video with Diplo and Kai and his production of the Vic Mensa track “No Chill,” he now has teamed up with fellow OWSLA artist Hundred Waters and also Chance The Rapper, Moses Sumney, and Robin Hannibal to create his own version of the Hundred Waters track “Show Me Love.”

At first listen, the newest collaboration between Hundred Waters, Skrillex, and Chance the Rapper may sound familiar to you –  Big Wild has his own take on “Show Me Love” which has over 900,000 plays on Soundcloud. However, this new version takes on a trap beat and features verses from Chance resulting in a much poppier version from the incredibly mellow original version. Hundred Waters’ incredibly soothing voice lends itself nicely to Skrillex’s version – there is even a bit of a call-and-response type interaction between Chance and Hundred Waters later on in the song.

If you’re looking for a bit more of a visual experience, catch the entire squad (and even some of Sonny Moore’s other familiar friends) fighting with plastic swords and frolicking on the beach in the music video for the “Show Me Love” remix, which was also released. Check it out in the latest EDMovie Madness – and side note: who else really wishes that they were a part of Skrillex’s squad??

Hundred Waters has chosen a number of artists to collaborate and perform at the festival FORM, which is taking place May 13, 14, and 15th at Arcosanti in Arizona. The event is free but also invite only: learn more about this one-of-a-kind and brand new experience at experienceform.com.
