“Bring Forth the Pressure” with Illenium and Dirt Monkey

Illenium is back in town! Although, that is not all that is new and exciting about Illenium.  Pantheon Records released Illenium’s bonus track “Bring Forth the Pressure.”  ft. Dirt Monkey off of his debut album, Ashes.

Originally this song was a bonus track on his album “Ashes,” but now it is available on Soundcloud thanks to Pantheon Records.  Illenium wanted to expand on his skill as a producer and paired with none other than fellow Colorado native, Dirt Monkey. Dirt Monkey is notoriously known for his heavy dubstep. They are both RAD DJs with extreme talent. Most importantly, Dirt Monkey can bring out the dirty side of Illenium. We all know and love Illenium for his melody-bass, soul-lifting electronic music, but  Illenium is so skilled in his work that he is able to expand to other genres of EDM.  

Illenium says that he “distinguished himself from the myriad of others through an unrivaled ability to create an immersive emotional experience of high and lows that pulls on the heart strings and leaves the listener awestruck, accomplishing in the span of just a few short minutes what takes many a full set.”

Illenium has been able to make me and many others go through these emotional musical roller coasters of highs and lows. This track definitely stands out from the rest of his songs in “Ashes”. Thankfully, we can all listen and enjoy Illenium’s special talents.
