YetepYesterday R3HAB dropped a new track, the appropriately named Go Hard remix of Will.I.Am’s new track Go Home featuring JLO and Mick Jagger. Like anything else the Dutch artist has released in the past year, it’s popularity has been explosive with over 25,000 plays on Soundcloud in the past 24 hours. Although that number has certainly been helped by the fact that the track is available for FREE! Seriously, download and hit play right now.
The new remix has some of the same hard electro nuances fans have come to expect from R3HAB as well melody synth line in the beginning of the track that seems to remind me of Miami beach. That melody is exchanged for a harder electro and almost alarm sound around 1:30 after the exposition from Will.I.Am and JLO.
Weirdly enough, Mick Jagger seems to be trying to connect with his college audience in the track. He sings about Trigonometry and Psychology in his lyrics.
Learn more about R3HAB here and check him out next Tuesday where he’ll be headlining Reading Day Riot, the largest end of school party to hit ASU.
