YetepBack at it with the new releases, Wooli and Jantsen combine their efforts to present a bass-influenced masterpiece. With both artists coming from very diverse backgrounds in music, these two could pop out with just about anything.
With this tune being on the heavier side, you can’t help but bop your head to the beat. All of a sudden it lightens up on you while holding on to the melodic mutter in the background. The environment does a sudden switch up, and it’s tremendous. Adding the heavy and light elements together portrays the techniques of both of these fascinating artists.
Jantsen is no rookie to the electronic music scene. His personality is displayed through all of his tracks, which are wild and creative. Plus, they have all been influenced by jazz, hip hop, rock, and just about every other style of music. After collaborations with Dirt Monkey and Bassnectar on more than one occasion, it’s time to introduce his latest contributor, Wooli.
With multiple tracks highlighted in recent issues of Dat New New, one cannot get enough of Wooli’s new music. Being featured in Excision’s latest Shambhala mix is only the beginning of what’s in store for him. With a whole plethora of new music being released within the last couple months, there’s a track for every type of electronic lover out there.
Keep an eye out for both of these artists because you wouldn’t want to miss a live set by either. “DayDream” is just a taste of what these two have to offer.
