9/7 – Troyboi w/ Gent & Jawns, Meaux Green, & Slumberjack @ Pressroom
One of South East London’s most closely guarded secrets has emerged from the shadows and is set to take the music industry by storm. Known as TroyBoi, this multi-talented musician specializes in extraordinarily unique, versatile, and highly musical tracks that fuse various textures from multiple genres. His style is undeniably his own, infectious to the ears and beyond stimulating to the mind. Earlier this month he released his massive debut album Left Is Right and he’s taking all that fresh music on the road.

9/8 – LO’99 at BFF @ Bar Smith
Located deep in the underbelly of the Australian dance music fraternity and supported by some of the most influential names on the planet, LO’99 has quickly jumped from virtual unknown to the new name on lips of tastemakers across the planet. LO’s debut single “Take Me Back” rose to become a #5 UK & #3 Australian club record while his recent EP with Cause & Affect and Taiki Nulight on Night Bass just hit the #1 House Release spot on Beatport! It is, without doubt, LO’s absolute mastery of the rumbling, prowling, bassline infused house and garage sounds that have proven the key to his recent success. His ability to pare music down to the bare essentials, then inject his score with immense, deeply beautiful and energetic rhythm and vocal lines, shows both restraint and a willingness to let the music do the talking without relying on over-used drops or emotion begging effects. It is pure heart of the dance floor; a welcome descent into the darkened halls of clubland.

9/9 – Anjunabeats Worldwide 07 Tour ft. Grum @ Monarch Theatre
Recently finding himself listed as one of the top ten selling Progressive DJ’s on Beatport, Graeme Shepherd, aka Grum, is on incredible form. His two most recent singles, “Shout” (Anjuna) and “Under Your Skin” (Anjuna) accomplished #1 in the Beatport Progressive & Trance Charts and have been extensively supported on R1 & Sirius XM by the likes of Danny Howard & Deadmau5. A regular favorite in the sets of Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn, Gareth Emery & Camelphat etc, Grum’s consistent track record doesn’t seem likely to stop anytime soon. To date, he’s had six tracks in the Beatport Top Ten, plus, overall, a remarkable 31 releases in the Beatport Top 100. This has amounted to spending over 1000 days in the Top 100 – something which looks set to continue with a packed schedule for the rest of 2017.

9/9 – Illenium @ The Van Buren
There are melodic bass producers, and then there is Nick Miller. The Denver-based producer known as Illenium has been turning heads in the dance music community over the past year and for good reason. Illenium has distinguished himself from the myriad of others through an unrivaled ability to create an immersive emotional experience of highs and lows that pulls on the heart strings and leaves the listener awestruck, accomplishing in the span of just a few short minutes what takes many a full set. He has displayed an adeptness for creating aural arrangements that vary in style, yet always maintain beauty, complexity and emotional depth. In a recent RB Exclusive interview he said, “I’ll be releasing a new album sometime this summer that I’m super stoked for. It’s going to have a lot more recorded elements to it. Guitar, drums, some super chill moments. I did some experimenting and I’m excited to see people’s reactions. I’m also planning a fall tour that will be focused on the visual aspect of the music- using animation to bring the songs to life. I’m looking forward to bringing audiences into the ‘Illenium’ universe.”

9/9 – Billy Kenny @ Monarch Scarlet Room
British producer, DJ, and engineer Billy Kenny is widely accustomed to the lower, more aggressive frequencies in the amalgamation between UK Garage, House, and Techno. His releases on Dirtybird, Sweat It Out and his co-run imprint This Ain’t Bristol circulate the festival scene and globe alike. This Ain’t Bristol has turned more than a few well-respected heads since its launch in late 2014 and continues to pump out high-quality releases to their ever-growing audience. His endless edits, live sampling, looping and unexpected choices of weaponry make him a standout act. Billy has perfected his craft behind the decks turning out amazing sets everywhere he goes. This weekend he’ll be performing an open to close set that’ll blow your minds. 5 hours of groovy goodness!
