While this is the weekend that Hard Summer Music Fest will be going on, that doesn’t really mean a thing if you are leaving to go out of town to it. Here in the valley of the sun we will still be partying it up like crazy cause we have a total of 5 shows for this weekend’s “End of July” festivities. We’re starting out with Meaux Green, then on Saturday we have Dannic, Brodinski & Ryan Hemsworth, and Brooke Evers. To close out the weekend at the pool we’re bring Madeon to chill out for those Sunday vibes!
7/29 – Meaux Green @ Gypsy Bar
Have you seen Meaux Green in 2016? If not you should probably try to. The kid has been remixing the lots of some really big hip hop artists such as A$AP Ferg, RiFF RAFF, and many more as he has only just begun this year. Meaux Green is putting only his most Hip-hop heavy foot forward to show you why his brand of “Rave-Hop” has been long in the making. To check out his style listen to his party remix of “Hood So Crazy” which takes Tech N9ne’s original track and gives it the detailed upgrade that only enhances Tech N9ne’s strong personality and musical stylings.
Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell – is one of the hottest acts to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch artists breaking through in recent years. He makes some of the hardest hitting bigroom house you could imagine. His latest track “Can You Feel It” brings all the heat with a trombone break down and the fattest synth stabs to get your fist pumping in the air. Check it out and see what I mean for yourselves though!
Brodinski is the most exciting dj and producer to explode onto the scene in recent years. Yes, he may hail from France (Reims, Lille) but he is quite unlike any of his Parisian peers. His taste in music is broad and this is reflected in his own productions and dj sets which may encompass noisy techno, bass heavy house through to more melodic minimal. Check out his track he just produced “Treat Me Like Gotti” featuring Yung Booke.
Blurring the lines between hip-hop and indie pop, Canadian DJ and producer Ryan Hemsworth has worked with the likes of Sole, Lana Del Rey, Shady Blaze, and Quadron while maintaining a solo career. He dropped his debut album in 2013, Guilt Trips, on the label Last Gang. If you want to see what he has been up to lately go check out this article on our page as well right here!
7/30 – Brooke Evers @ Salt
Brooke Evers is a cover-model, reality TV personality, brand ambassador, and now one of most exciting DJ’s on the circuit. The Australian-born Dutch beauty has been dominating the glamour circuit for over a decade and has fast become the woman of choice for photographers, magazines and top venues worldwide. With musical ambitions in full swing, Brooke is smashing it on the dance-floor playing at some of the most notable super-clubs and giving some of the baddest mash-ups that we have seen in a while!
Oh man where do we start with this guy? We could talk about “Pop Culture” which maintains itself as one of the best mashup arrangements ever produced or his debut album Adventure which is some of the best music we will see in all of ever. But I guess more recently we could show what a fan of his music has done. Including nearly every Disney release since 1989, this three-and-a-half minute mashup pulls from the best scenes of each film to sync up perfectly with Madeon’s tune “Pop Culture” aforementioned. It’s hits you pretty hard in the feels so I’m gonna ahead and just let you watch this one and ball your eyes out.
As per usual, ticket links should be in the title of each shows name so go ahead and click there and you should be good to go! Other than that have a fun and safe weekend everybody and I’ll see you on the dance floor!
