Taking place down south in Miami, Florida, Ultra Music Festival seems to be at the top of the list for many when it comes to the festival choices of their dreams. Placed within the city limits surrounded by skyscrapers, Ultra gives festival attendees the opportunity to take over the city of Miami among others who gather from all over the world.
Just like every other year, the 2017 lineup does not disappoint. The first phase of live headliners include Major Lazer, Underworld, Justice, Ice Cube, and the Prodigy. Half of these leading acts come from Europe, so their particular experiences with music festivals will be a compelling addition to next year’s event.
In addition to the headliners, there is a long list of supporting acts that consists of Tiesto, Dubfire, David Guetta, Alesso, Afrojack, and tons of other credible musicians. Let’s not forget that this is only the phase one announcement. There will be more to come, so start considering when you are going to purchase your ticket!
From recent years, Ultra has created a reputation of being the event of the year. Filled with the most popular electronic artists at the time, Ultra attracts a wide demographic of individuals. Since its start in 1999, the event has popped up in numerous cities around the globe in addition to its home base of Miami. Locations include Thailand, Japan, South Africa, Chile, Peru, Ibiza, and tons more. Ultra has touched almost every part of the world and many people’s hearts along the way.
So making the decision whether or not Ultra is worth the trip is an easy one once you take a look at the lineup. There’s plenty more to come, so keep an eye out for the remaining phases.
