YetepThe energy that newcomer Blanke exudes from his music is undeniable. He has had an impressive year full of a wide range of releases, and he is back with another that is bound to blow you away. After spending time focusing on heavy hitting midtempo tracks earlier this year, he has decided to change up the pace with a series of melodic based releases. His latest, “Flatline,” shows that he can do no wrong. In an interview Blanke stated, “I’ve been working towards this sonically for a very long time, and I’m so proud of where it has ended up. It’s the first of a string of more melodic influenced records I’ll be releasing.” When posting about the new hit, the Australian producer stated he was nervous before the release but overwhelmed by the love and great responses. You can stream “Flatline” featuring Calivania below, the first of many melodic tracks by Blanke to come.
The track starts out slow and quickly builds in typical melodic bass fashion. Blanke sets up an incredible emotion filled atmosphere for this one with beautiful vocals by Calivania layered over his production, which is something he has never done. Don’t worry, the drops are still just as heavy as his usual hits but are balanced out by the airy drawn out melodic chords. Blanke’s sound is ever evolving and “Flatline” shows he has no boundaries; we are looking forward to hearing what he has in store for us next.
