DJ Snake Solicits the Help of Future for ‘U Are My High’

Earlier this year, DJ Snake blessed us with “U Are My High,” a funky house track designed for the summer festival season. Now the French producer has teamed up with rapper Future for a new rendition of  the single. Featuring the same vocal samples from the The Gap Band’s original 1979 track, DJ Snake adds R&B, funk, and trap elements to “U Are My High,” now with the added help from Future. The first release back in July gained over 45 million streams on Spotify and went viral on TikTok. The new version crosses over into the world of hip-hop, uniting the two genres for a track that will appeal to all.

This marks DJ Snake’s 8th release of 2021, following his recent collab with Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and LISA (Blackpink), “SG,” as well as “Pondicherry” with Malaa, both in October. The producer also teamed up with Malaa back in July on “Ring The Alarm.” On top of a string of successful releases, DJ Snake came back full force post-quarantine, with festival appearances like Exit Festival, HARD Summer, Untold Festival, and EDC Las Vegas.

DJ Snake will be heading to the valley this New Year’s Eve for Decadence Arizona, alongside artist like Chris Lake, Alison Wonderland, DJ Diesel, and many more. You can grab tickets and see the full lineup here!
