YetepJeremy Olander is set to release his 3 track EP, Jackie on Eric Prydz’s Pryda Recordings. This will be the label’s very first release of an artist other than Prydz himself, a milestone for the label as it celebrates it’s 10th year. Olander has a long history with Prydz but this is a clear demonstration of the faith he has in the young Swede and further shown by his supporting slot at EPIC 3.0.
The new EP out September 29, marks the first release of new original material since Olander’s tech-infused progressive belter “Bandersnatch” from December of last year and the first three track offering from the talented Swede since his original outing on Pryda Friends in 2011. The EP offers something unique for every type of Jeremy Olander fan. Peak time weapon “Jackie”, a mainstay in Jeremy’s sets the past several months leads the charge, and is complemented by fan favorite and long requested ID “Lauderdale” and electro-progressive hybrid “DLIGTY”.
In 2011, Stockholm-native Jeremy Olander was signed to Prydz’s Pryda Friends label, effectively becoming the first ever young artist to be championed by the Grammy nominated superstar producer and DJ. Since then Olander’s been on a formative journey honing his craft, resulting in nine tracks that have given the label its best selling releases since inception, most notably the Beatport Top 10 chart topping “Let Me Feel.”
Today, three years down the road, Olander once again breaks new ground with the official announcement of his multi-release deal signing with Prydz’s Pryda Recordings, an imprint that until today has been reserved exclusively as an output for head honcho Prydz himself.
Coming off a busy spring and summer with notable highlights including a celebrated US tour with stops at Mysteryland USA, EDC Las Vegas and Electric Zoo, to the sold out SW4 after party with Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz as well as shows at Amnesia Ibiza’s legendary terrace, Olander shows no sign of slowing down taking on support duties for Prydz at his groundbreaking EPIC 3.0 show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden later this month, a headline Australia tour and a lot more new material waiting around the corner.
