YetepLate this afternoon Swedish House Mafia announced on their site that the current tour will be their last. Although the post has scheduled dates of July 14 at Milton Keynes Bowl (the last UK show), July 4 – August 29 at Ushuaia in Ibiza, and November 24 at Friends Arena in Sweden, it also explain that more dates are to be announced.
Swedish House Mafia is undeniably one of the most popular (if not the most popular) dance music trio. After five years together and many shows including performances at Electric Daisy Carnival and Madison Square Garden, it’s sad to see the group dissolve. They’ve been a media favorite over the past few years quoted as being the rockstars of dance music and even compared to The Beatles. Looking at each individuals’ tour schedules, however, it doesn’t seem as if any of them are slowing down. Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso will still be making the rounds for at least the foreseeable future.

Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.
