Ride The Wave: Wavefront Music Festival Set For July 5-7

Spring is in the air, and electronic dance music has never been so popular. That is why we are seeing massive tours from all the big names, and new festivals popping up left and right. We just got back from Ultra Music Festival, the biggest and best of the best, but new festivals are being announced every day. From Electric Daisy Carnival to Electric Zoo, there will be plenty of places for you to dance this summer.

This June, head to the Windy City for Wavefront Music Festival, a beachfront experience that you can’t afford to miss. Wavefront Music Festival is a three-day electronic dance music festival taking place on Montrose Beach featuring some of the biggest names in EDM. They will also be featuring a lot of big names from the Chicagoland area. The dates this year are July 5, 6, and 7. This comes at a perfect time as we will all be watching fireworks on the 4 to celebrate Independence Day.

There are so many great names; I don’t even know where to begin. Names like Rusko and Diplo litter a list of up and coming and headlining acts from across the globe. Depending on what day you plan on going, there are a few sets you need to see. dOP will be performing live, as well Hot Natured, DJ 3LAU, and Wolf + Lamb will also do a set together. There are so many big names playing, I might be spending the weekend in Chicago just to see them all!
