“Armin Only” Returns To America

Armin van Buuren hits the marathon sets hard again in 2014, bringing the “Armin Only” event back to the states this coming year. From the middle of the night into early morning, Armin returns his massive set to America for the first time since 2011.

Though it “depends on venues, it depends on availability, it’ll depend on the promoters”, as he told inthemix, Armin will be stamping his passport at U.S. Customs.

“I’m really excited about the new ‘Armin Only’ show, and I’m glad I have a lot of new music that I can share with people,” he said. “That’s one of the hardest things, when you have all this new music for two years and you can’t talk with anyone about it. Now it’s finally it’s out, and it’s doing really well, which is great.”

Yet, “Armin Only” might have to tinker with its name this year, as the world’s number one DJ reconsiders options to give ravers a full night of madness.

“I don’t know if I want to do nine hours with ‘Armin Only’ anymore. I usually find out that by five a.m., 80% of the crowd has left anyway, and the rest still there are a bit vague,” said Armin. “I’d rather do a good show and have a lot of energy, and build a proper set from the ground up starting with progressive and building into trance, with a few classics at the end to finish with a bang. And then people leave feeling like they want more, but I’ll still play a six or seven-hour set.”

We all look forward to seeing the Dutch legend play all night long.
