“Hey Brother” Remixed + Avicii Wins AMA AWARD

Over the weekend, I bet I heard this song on the radio 10 times in San Diego. I am glad that EDM is getting some airplay, but I HATE that Avicii is top 40. Regardless, his hit single “Hey Brother” is getting a remix by Estonian up-and-comer Syn Cole.

“Hey Brother” is the second single from his debut album, TRUE. The song was produced and co-written by Avicii and features vocals by renowned bluegrass singer/composer Dan Tyminski.

On top of that, Avicii took home his first American Music Award for “Favorite Electronic Dance Music Artist,” voted on by fans, besting a highly competitive field that included fellow nominees Calvin Harris, Daft Punk and Zedd.
