Candyland releases “Murda”

The latest track from Candyland is a powerful trap/electro-house tune that is sure to be smashing dance floors from Los Angeles to New York City this summer. Incorporating hip hop infused vocals and a stabbing bassline, it is a creative venture into the two worlds that reside between the contrasting genres of music.

Halfway between Electric Daisy Carnival and a rap concert, the track will appeal to fans of dubstep, bass music and even some hip hop enthusiasts. As the electronic music world continues to evolve, producers have melded genres beyond the classic female vocals-over-beats combination. “Murda” welcomes her to this experimental category.

Candyland is releasing her newest piece on Smog Records, a label owned by 12th Planet. The track adds another strong original to Candyland’s previous singles on Spinnin’ Records, Monstercat, and Ultra, next to several successful remixes under her belt from multiple genres, giving her “OG touch” to everything from Nicky Romero to Cash Cash. Always covering new ground, Candyland’s next release will be out on Dim Mak in June.
