YetepThis week’s wind down on Mixmag‘s The Lab will feature none other than hometown hero and genre-hopping DJ, Mija and Aussie DJ/Producer/Vocalist/Jack-of-all-trades Anna Lunoe in a very special back to back set. The pair will be tagging each other in on what is set to be an absolutely amazing back to back set that will be available to be streamed live on the Mixmag Youtube channel.

Both women have well-established positions in the current state of the dance music industry, having created their own niches in music and defining their own unique styles. Mija has quickly dominated festival lineups in just one short year after an infamous back to back set with Skrillex on the Kalliope art car at Bonnaroo, which Mija describes as “serendipitous”. Fast forward to now, and she’s absolutely taking over with her genre-hopping sets and that incredibly catchy collaboration with Ghastly, “Crank It”, which is accompanied by a pretty cool video as well. Anna Lunoe, who initially got her start as a local radio DJ in Australia, has an insane knack in creating upbeat, energetic “bangas” (it sounds better in her adorable Australian accent). Along with her talent in coodinating beats, she also brings forth an amazing voice that can be heard in her tracks like “All Out”, “Breathe”, and “Bass Drum Dealer (BDD)” and has even collaborated with acts such as Treasure Fingers, Flume, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
The two DJs will be taking their back to back sass on the Full Flex Express tour this summer alongside Zeds Dead, Kiesza, ASAP Ferg, Tycho, Hundred Waters, and, of course, Jack Ü. If you can’t catch them on the party train through Canada, be sure to catch their fully flexed back to back set, which will be available on MixmagTV on Friday at 6:30pm!
