Upgrades for EDC Las Vegas

EDC Las Vegas is quickly approaching and Insomniac has announced upgrades to look forward to at the upcoming festival. In previous years we have seen the owl and cathedral designs on the main stage and this year Insomniac is using a Crystal Village theme. In addition they have revealed a 360 degree stage made entirely out of recycled materials that will be The Funk House as well as six other new stage designs.

Insomniac has also announced Carnival Square where you will be able to find all of you favorite carnival rides as well as rest areas and snacks. The Marquee SkyDeck will give festival goers a perched view of the festival with a bar and a nightclub atmosphere. The art is being upgraded as well this year with the “Palace Blue” inspired by the Hagia Sophia cathedral in Istanbul, this structure required about 20 tons of material including bamboo, steel, wood, and fabric.

Food is essential to have at festivals such as EDC so Insomniac has revealed food trucks that will serve lobster, salads, gourmet burgers, Vietnamese fare, pizza, and much much more. In addition, EDC’s “Dining Deck” has been renamed to “The Terrace” that will serve a three course meal including sushi at $140 per person.

EDC can be very tiring so there will be many Chill Spots located throughout the grounds where ravers can meet up with friends, relax, and take in all the sights and sounds of the festival. With all these and many other updates to EDC it is sure to be an exciting and wild experience for the festival goers at EDC Las Vegas.
