YetepElectronic music has been used in many large commercials and ads in the past year giving a huge boost to the genre and artists. Songs such as ‘Greyhound’, ‘Express Yourself’, ‘In My Mind’, and ‘Get Low’ have been used in massive marketing ads to promote food, cars, movies, etc… Now Microsoft is joining in on the trend by using Odesza’s ‘Say My Name’ in a new ad for Windows 10.

Windows 10. GMUNK. ODESZA.
Visual artist GMUNK helped turn the new Windows wallpaper into the resulting video by using lasers, smoke machines and falling crystal dust. Although the ad will not be promoted on television it will still be widely viewed and is a large promotion for the music duo out of Seattle.
Odesza has been making waves from preforming at major festivals this summer to their album ‘In Return’ that gained global attention in its first few months. The duo will be making stops at upcoming festivals such as Hard Summer, Lallapalooza, Summer Set, and many more.
