One Tribe USA Cancelled

It’s a sad, sad day in the world of EDM. The most zen dance music festival, One Tribe Fest, has been cancelled.

With Life Is Beautiful and TomorrowWorld both executed the same weekend as One Tribe, one festival was bound to suffer on the ticket sales side. SFX tried to combat the competition by offering an aggressive ambassador program offering free admission to whoever can persuade four people to purchase tickets, but it just wasn’t enough. They’ve been reaching out to tons of promoters scavenging for last-minute support that has yet to be found.

Jam-packed with dancing, swimming, camping, yoga and water activities galore, One Tribe was scheduled for September 25 and 26 in Lake Perris, California. It’s surprising that ticket sales were problematic since the line-up is monumental: Kygo, Damian Lazarus, DJ Dan, Doc Martin and Gramatik just to name a few.

Yoga and EDM sounds like the ideal combination for an epic weekend but… I guess we’ll all namast…ay home. Thank the rave Gods that Mad Decent Block Party isn’t cancelled.
