YetepCan you believe it’s been over three years since Carnage blew a casket in the dance music scene with his festival trap remix of Hardwell‘s “Spaceman”? Not only did that track propel the burgeoning trap movement forward towards its modern-day domination of EDM, but it also boosted Carnage’s career in big ways, paving the way for him to take over many festival main stages
At the end of this month, hip-hop and EDM melding producer Carnage will release what looks to be a beast of a debut album, Papi Gordo. The 15-track collection will include a couple of tracks you might already have heard before —like the Migos featuring “Bricks” or the honky-tonk jam “I Like Tuh” featuring iLoveMakonnen. The album will also feature heavy-weight assists from the likes of Rick Ross, ASAP Ferg, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, OG Maco, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
With the good news comes “November Skies,” a track off the new album which explodes Tomas Barfod‘s original track into a fizzy, high-BPM dance song. “November Skies,” Carnage told The FADER, “is a song I really feel strongly about. it reflects the diverse records on my album.”
