Tiesto Announces Winner Of ‘Your Shot USA’ DJ Competition

Several months ago world renowned DJ & producer, Tiesto, teamed up with 7UP for Your Shot USA. The competition was created to find talented DJs and give their career a boost so that they could chase their dream of performing on stages all around the globe. After several months of competition Tiesto narrowed the field from thousands to only three and now it’s time to pick a winner.

At first I was skeptical about the competition but as time went on they picked out the people who were just there for the quick fame and kept the ones who were really passionate about music and had experience producing and DJing before. The winner received lots of cool DJ equipment (thanks to 7UP & Pioneer) as well as producing lessons, an opening set for Tiesto at Hakkasan Las Vegas, and a slot on Stage 7 at Ultra Music Festival.

Your Shot has been going on for several years in Australia and has sent many DJs off onto successful careers doing what they love. After the attention they received in Australia they teamed up with 7UP and Tiesto to bring the competition to America and received an overwhelming response.
