DB-128 // Will Clarke –  Turn It Up

This year, Will Clarke made his Dirtybird debut with “Badness”, a track full of popping, bouncing beats, which was featured on Dirtybird 10. Soon after, Will Clarke followed his work up with releases on the Dirtybird BBQ compilation, Grill$on’s Revenge, with the lazer-snapping “808 Frenzy”. His releases off of other labels, such as Defected, Emerald City, and Turbo have been accompanied by unforgettable shows all over the US, Australia, and Europe, including an amazing performance at the first-ever Dirtybird Campout. Returning to the label with the EP, Turn It Up, Will Clarke has whipped up two tremendous tracks will definitely be heard in Dirtybird mixes everywhere. The title track, “Turn It Up” cresendoes into a frenzy of bass, hi-hats, and heavy rhythm and leaves listeners in a flurry of funky sounds. The second track featured on the EP, “Can You Funk” shows a darker edge to the producers bass-heavy style, taking listeners into a gritty soundscape with deep, low vocals.

The EP is available now on Beatport, so be sure to TURN IT UP!
