YetepACRAZE has had an incredible ride since his viral flip of “Do It To It,” which helped him shift from landscaping to headlining global stages. Hailing from Staten Island, he taught himself production by watching YouTube tutorials and developed a sound that combines crowd-shaking bass with clever samples. He’s now performed at top venues worldwide and secured residencies in Las Vegas.
Westend has become one of the standout names in tech house. Growing up on acts like Justice and MSTRKRFT, he started out producing at night while working a day job in tech after graduating from Duke. His sound blends that same gritty electro edge with a modern groove, landing him releases on labels like Dirtybird and Club Sweat before landing on FISHER‘s Catch & Release.
Together, Westend and ACRAZE bring a full-throttle energy to “Apple Cider” that pushes boundaries while keeping it dance floor-ready. “Apple Cider” wastes no time. The vocal riff is instantly memorable, looping over a bold bassline and crisp tech house drums. It’s lean, punchy, and designed to punch through festival sound systems and dark club corners. The two producers play to their strengths: Westend’s tight, rolling rhythms meet ACRAZE’s maximalist drops.
The track has already found love from major names. Dom Dolla and John Summit have given early support, and it’s popped up in CID‘s recent sets. On Spotify, it’s featured in big editorial playlists like Housewerk and Tech House Operator, plus a co-sign from Ministry of Sound’s Dance Music Friday roundup. It’s also racked up nearly 77K streams in under a week, a strong sign of how fast it’s moving.
Catch & Release is a label founded by FISHER in 2018 that quickly became a go-to destination for dance floor weapons. With a focus on fun, funky, and addictive tech house, the label has been pivotal in pushing the genre forward. “Apple Cider” bottles the energy of a packed club and serves it cold. Expect to hear it all summer, and don’t be surprised if it shows up in your favorite DJ’s set next weekend.
