YetepKygo has had a wonderful 2015, releasing breathtaking single after single and touring the globe at bigger and bigger venues as the year progressed. This guy has sold over 6 million singles in 2015 and gained the crown of Spotify’s “Breakout Artist of 2015. Now to wrap up his best year to date, Kygo is unleashing one last single, “Stay”.
“Stay” ft. Maty Noyes finds the Norwegian producer layering his trademark tropical sounds beneath Noyes’ cooing vocals to infectious effect. Implementing a driven house beat and percussive ornaments to shape the ambience just right, we’re quickly greeted with another soon-to-be Kygo classic.
Looking forward to 2016, Kygo will be gracing us with his biggest project yet – his debut artist album that has been in the works for over a year-and-a-half. The “Stole The Show” producer shared the news that the album would be released on Feb. 12, 2016. it will be interesting to see if he continues with these same melodies and sounds for a full album, or branches out exploring his style. Either way, fans eagerly await his new work and I can’t wait to see what Kygo brings into the new year.
