Pete Tong Oversees Orchestral Version of Eric Prydz’s “Pjanoo”

MON, NOV 30, 2015

Since 1895, BBC Proms has hosted a series of summer concerts, which focus mainly on classical music performed by an orchestra, for eight special weeks at the Royal Albert Hall.

However, this year, the program decided to invite famed DJ and BBC Essential mix host Pete Tong to perform some of the classics of the Ibiza dance world, one of which was Eric Prydz’s famed “Pjanoo.”

This special event served as a celebration of 20 years of radio and live broadcasting from the world’s dance music capital, Ibiza.
