TEMPE: Drum & Bass Has Arrived

Friction has set the bar high for our series of up and coming drum & bass shows with an absolute stunner this past Saturday at Sunbar. If you were lucky enough to be in attendance, you know that there was amazing talent all night long. With some great local talent such as Arietta, this night got started off with an absolute banger of a set. Arietta was able to mix in some of the biggest and best DnB tunes from the current charts with old school remixes and some SoundCloud secrets. This amazing set was followed up by the man of the hour, Friction. One of the leading UK drum and bass artists, Friction was able to bring his high energy DnB to the dancefloor and help the crowd moving all night long.

Friction, originally from Brighton, UK, has been in and around the DnB scene in England since the early 2000’s. From hosting the BBC 1 Radio’s weekly drum & bass show for six years running to producing chart topping international anthems, Friction is one name that you are not going to want to forget. With his ability to blend genres and add in the perfect sprinkling of techno and hardstyle, Friction kept the energy high and the feet moving all night long last Saturday.
